PVC windows from VEKA AG are made from composition of many different materials. 85% of the mix content is PVC (polyvinyl chloride).
PVC is produced from etilene and chorine. The basic material is not stable enough; therefore PVC window profile manufacturers stabilizers and other micro additives:
- thermal stabilizers
- conditioning substances modifiers
- UV stabilizers (one of the most expensive additives that protects the profiles from colour degradation in sunlight)
- Titane dioxide TiO2 (patented VEKA AG compound that ensure perfect finish and durability of profile surfaces)
- processing materials and colours
The primary difference that makes PVC window profiles from VEKA AG superior is the number of calibration points in the PVC profile manufacturing cycle. The said calibration practice make all VEKA AG products especially stable and resistant to mechanical and thermal impacts in the subsequent stages of manufacturing and ensures that the end prodct is exactly what it was meant to be.
