This terrace door is ideal for rustic type, heritage building. Matches Scandinavian type RUSTIK windows. Used as a set, these products maintain genuine spirit of the old buildings while providing better thermal insulation parameters compared to the old windows and terrace doors.

Protection against housebreaking and injuries
Terrace door can be optionally fitted with safety, laminated glass panes.
Terrace door can be fitted with an extended safety strip. In this case, door hardware is upgraded with additional hooks that lock the terrace door when closed. In this solution, the terrace door is fitted with interior handle and interior lock only.
Protection against injuries
Terrace door can be glazed with safety, tempered glass panes.

Shapes
Interior edges of terrace door jamb and leaf are decorated with decorative elements. Full-size glass unit.
Colours
Colours can be selected from the extensive RAL or NCS palette. Paint coating is recommended for the exterior of the terrace door, whereas the interior can be optionally coated with varnish of a variety of available shades or RAL or NCS colour paint.
Colour of handles and hinges is optional.
Glazing bars
Wooden terrace door can be decorated with real or dummy glazing bars.
Scandinavian wooden terrace door can be fitted with glass unit having two or three glass panes.
Basic requirements to terrace doors
Safety glass panes must be used for terrace doors: protection against housebreaking and injuries is provided by laminated glass panes.
If it is necessary to simplify the structure of the terrace door, it is important to make sure that at least tempered glass is used for protection against injuries.

Wooden windows and doors are manufactured entirely of glued wood, using timber.
Paint coating
Water-based finishing materials Teknos (Finland) are used for paint coating.
Teknos paints contain less volatile organic compounds and heavy metal additives than the required minimum established by legislation relating to quality of the products.
Dry paint coat is 120-140 ɥ thick, meeting the standards applicable for the most severe climate.

Extended safety option: interior handle, interior lock only
Terrace door can be fitted with friction brake locking the door in any open position. Friction brake is not available for extended safety option.
Wooden windows and doors are labelled with CE marking.
Wooden windows and doors comply with requirements established by the EU Construction Products Directive.

Quality of wood timber and its compliance with the required specifications of raw materials is proven by BM Trada certificate and FSC Council accreditation held by the supplier. Wood gluing processes are carried out according to DIN EN 204, D4 standard.
