Energy efficiency

Ability of windows and doors to retain heat inside is one of the key factors determining comfort of your home. Quality, durable and energy efficient windows will provide you with comfortable living.

To ensure energy efficiency of the windows they must be precisely cut and carefully assembled, they must be firm and durable, and they must be certified.

Plastic windows guarantee effective thermal insulation and comfort of your home by maintaining a constant temperature.

We can deliver the most professional window systems of the maximal quality by using quality plastic window profiles, triple glazed units with heat retaining glass panels and thermal spacer for the glazed units.

One of the key parameters determining window quality is thermal insulation parameters of its structure. Heat transfer due to temperature difference usually cause heat loss and is sought to minimize by all means possible.

Heat loss through a product is specified by the heat transfer rate U [W/(m2*K)]. Its value equals to heat flow through 1 m2 of product surface area over a set period, when temperature difference is 1 K.

U value of a product is determined by laboratory tests and is confirmed by official certificates.

Glazed units make the larger part of window or terrace door surface and therefore largely determine the heat efficiency parameters of the product. Quality glazed units first of all must be certified according to international standards. Certificates like the CE mark of conformity guarantees quality of the glazed units. Our company utilizes only certified materials that ensure longevity and ease of use of our products.

We produce double glazed and triple glazed units. Note that triple glazed units are approximately twice as efficient as double glazed units.

Unlike the standard spacers, the thermal warm spacer glazed units are made of heat-insulating plastic.

The warm spacer is made of flexible plastic that is also reinforced with steel.

This spacer efficiently reduces heat loss and the overall heat transfer rate U by 0.10 W/(m2*K) – 0.15 W/(m2*K).

Warm spacer also ensures that glass temperature at the edges of the units on the internal side is higher and thus reduces possibility of condensation and mould formation.

Without exaggeration, about 50% of benefits of utilizing quality window products depend on quality installation of windows, terrace doors and front doors ensuring sufficient heat insulation and ease of use.

Ensure that technologies used to install your windows are approved by the construction regulations.

Even windows or terrace doors with the highest heat insulation parameters may not ensure sufficient heat retention when are improperly installed since heat may dissipate through gaps created during installation, through inadequate or low quality materials or due to improper use of quality mounting materials.
